Our Nursery
Is available every Sunday morning from 8:45 until 12:45. The nursery is fully staffed and equipped. Ms. Redford is usually present in the nursery area to supervise both our paid staff and volunteer staff. We believe that quality child care is an esential element of our ministry at Legacy Christian Church.
In Willisa's Words: Welcome to Legacy Christian's Nursery!
We believe your child is a special gift from God - so we want to provide the best love and care possible.
The purpose of the nursery is to provide a safe, loving, fun, and comfortable environment for both you and your child. To accomplish this our workers will walk, rock, read, feed, and play with the children to insure that they are content.
The nursery is made up of two rooms: Infants - 18 months and Preschoolers (19 months-4 years). Each room is staffed with 2-3 workers to ensure safety. We provide loving care and teaching during both morning worship services as well as during the Sunday school hour.
We have a Paging System! The number you receive when you check your child in (birth - 3 years) serves as a security check as well as a pager. Should your child need you during the Worship Service, the pager will vibrate.

Kid's Own Worship
Under Willisa's direction and after extensive prior planning, our children can participate in a wonderful worship experience. Our children are invited to participate in a special worship service designed especially for them. This service is lead by our KOW Worship Team and band led by Kirk Hopkins. The children ages 4 years thru 5th grade go to their worship area located in the Chapel located in the Discipleship Center.

In Willisa's Words: Here at Legacy Christian we believe that kids need to praise and worship God just as adults do. We have the kids actively involved in worshipping God. It's not enough for kids to sit in rows and watch what's happening at the front of the room. They need to encounter God with their hearts and minds, to worship God with their actions, and to praise God with their mouths. And we make it fun!" We also have the kids reflecting on the character and deeds of a good God. Children's Church is a time of introducing kids to who God is and worshipping God through praise, music, Scripture, activities, and prayer." |
Sunday School Class
Class is offered from 10-10:45 a.m. each Sunday in the room located in the Child Center.
Pre-School - 5th Grade:
Children meet in the Child Center to view an animated video that enhances their learning and understanding of the Bible story that is presented that week. There are also additional activities to do after the video.
